Stolberg, President
Aaron Stolberg is co-owner of WS Homes and a Principle at Wininger/Stolberg Group.
Aaron was born and raised in Bloomington. He recently moved back to Bloomington in 2002 after living in Austin, TX for 4 years. While in Austin, Aaron worked in the commercial real estate development and brokerage business with a local development firm. He lives in Bloomington with his wife Amy who he met while they were both attending Northwestern University.
Aaron graduated from Northwestern University in 1998 where he majored in communications with a minor in economics. He was also a 4 year letter winner and captain of the Northwestern men’s soccer team. Aaron is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Candidate and expects to earn his designation in 2006. His wife Amy completed a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Indiana University in 2004, and is currently a speech pathologist for MCCSC working at Rogers Elementary and Bloomington South High School.
Recent projects Aaron has overseen since joining Wininger/Stolberg Group are: Renwick, Jackson Mill at Canada Park, Springhill at Brighton Point, and The Ave. East (former Mama Grisanti’s restaurant site), and Cameron Row at Renwick.

Prange, Immediate Past-President
Aaron Prange is the Owner of Prange Building LLC .
A resident of Bloomington for over 20 years, Aaron began remodeling projects in the late 1980’s and then started constructing spec and custom homes in 1990 with the creation of Prange Building.
In 2004, Prange Building, LLC. was recognized as a Growth 100 award winner through The Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is a finalist this year for an Entrepreneurial Award of Distinction.
Aaron is also a REALTOR and Broker/Owner of Structures Real Estate.
An active member with the MCBA since 2002, Aaron serves as a State Director on the Indiana Builder’s Association, Inc.
Married, with two small children, Aaron enjoys flying in his “off time” and holds a private pilot’s license.
Nancy
Baldwin, Executive Officer
Prior to joining the MCBA Nancy worked in the social services field for 16+ years.
Nancy has two master’s degrees, from Indiana State University (MMFT) and Indiana Wesleyan University (MBA).
She and her husband have two daughters, MaryLynn (attending Ball State) and Brette (attending Bloomington South).
Jeff is the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington.
Nancy is energetic and enthusiastic, with organizational skills that are second to none.
Ben
Beard, Secretary-Treasurer
Ben Beard is the owner of The Gentry Group and co-founded it in 1987. Ben is a lawyer and a CPA. The Gentry Group consists of the Gentry Real Estate Company and Gentry Construction Company. He is very active in the Monroe County Builders Association. He has been their Secretary/Treasurer for three 2 year terms and a board member for many years as well. He currently serves as the Vice-President.
Daniel
J. Killion, Vice President
Owner and Master Inspector of Sherlock Home Inspection Services and Co-Owner of K & B Construction. Dan is a Master Home Inspector certified by Great Lakes and Indiana ASHI® Chapters. He is Member #354 of the American Society of Home Inspectors since 1984 and has been a Building Contractor since 1978. Dan has owned Sherlock Homes since 1982. He is Certified One and Two Family Dwelling, General Building and Electrical Inspector through Indiana State Building Commissioner's voluntary program. He is a Licensed Electrician and is a Licensed Wood Destroying Insect Inspector through Indiana State Chemist. He is the Former President of the Indiana ASHI® Chapter and is a Charter Member and former Peer Review Chairman, Education Coordinator, Director on Board for Great Lakes Chapter ASHI®
Lori Abram
Lori Abram is a REALTOR and Broker/Owner of Choice Realty & Management. She began her career in real estate in 1991. She was born in Monroe County and graduated from Edgewood High School. She serves her community through several organizations including as President for the Bloomington Board of REALTORS. She is designated as an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Certified Residential Specialist and a Graduate, Realtor Institute. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2005 and continues to assist with various committees.

has built. He has been in the building
trades for 25 years, of which 20
years have been in the residential
market. His background includes apprenticeship
training leading to a Journeymen
Carpenter in the Carpenter’s
Union, an Associates Degree in Construction
Technology from Vincennes University,
and a Certified Graduate Builder
and Graduate Master Builder professional
designations from the NAHB University
of Housing. Tom has been an active
member of the Monroe County Building
Association since 1992 serving as
Membership Chair in 1996, President
in 1998, Board of Directors since
1998, and a State Director on the
Indiana Builders Association, Inc.

Jack Thompson
Jack Thompson, a 40-year resident of Monroe County, is the President of Building Associates, Inc. a general construction and construction management company which he began in 1983. Prior to starting Building Associates, Jack worked for Paul I. Cripe, Land Surveying and Civil Engineering. In Bloomington he worked on layout and oversaw the development of Park Ridge East, Spicewood and Sycamore Knolls subdivisions. He built restaurants throughout the Midwest for eight years before starting Building Associates, Inc. in 1983. The company has expanded to include the sales and installation of Duro-Last® single-ply roofing membrane and STAR pre-engineered metal buildings, as well as the design and construction of custom homes. After completing their largest project to date, Cook Park 48, Building Associates moved into their new office at 3701 Jonathan Drive. Elected to the Board of Directors in October, Jack has served on the Golf Scramble committee and has been a member of the MCBA since 1997.
Mike Baker
Mike
is a long time resident of Bloomington. He owns Presidium Development
Group, Inc. Mike
has done many things in the building industry including being a builder. He
grew up in the building trades industry as his father was a builder. Both
Mike and his dad are past presidents of the MCBA.
Mike and his 2 children live in Bloomington. He is also very active with the Bloomington Chamber. Mike enjoys many sports both watching and participating. He also enjoys spending time on Lake Monroe with friends in the warmer months!
Kevin Powell
Kevin
Powell is a co-owner of Rubicon
Custom Homes.
Originally from the Indianapolis area, Kevin came to Bloomington to attend Indiana University. Previous to entering the real estate field and while in school, Kevin worked with the Bloomington Hospital Ambulance Service as an Emergency Medical Technician. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kevin also holds a real estate salesperson license.
Clair Roub
Clair Roub is owner of CDR
Design.
He earned degrees in Construction and Technology and Architectureal Technology from Indiana State University. He has two children and coaches in each of their seasonal sports.
