Training Opportunities: Rennovate Right
The MCBA sponsors a Full Day Lead-Based Paint Certification Training for 5 year Certification. Members receive a discount on the fees.
The Lead Based Paint Certifier Class scheduled for February 22nd has been cancelled due to lack of enrollment. If you did submit a reservation your name will be kept on a waiting list and once we have enough for a class we will re-schedule. In order to have a class we must have a minimum of 15 students.

Lead-Based Paint Certification Training
As of April 22, 2010, if your company engages in remodeling and repair,
maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, or window
replacement that disturbs 6 square feet or more of paint per room inside, or 20
square feet or more on the exterior of a home, child care facility or school built
before 1978 then at least one worker from your firm must be a
certified lead renovator.
The training focuses on new work practices and important information needed
to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead-Based Paint,
Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program which went into effect April 22, 2010.
Attend the full-day training class and receive certification for five (5) years.
